Special Pool Activities
Obstacle Course
Features a floating challenge course with a slide or 1/4 pipe at the finish! Pool slides and the diving board will be closed, one lap lane will remain open.
- March 3, 2023 - 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- April 15, 2023 - 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
- June 16, 2023 - 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Pool Volleyball Net
Located in the shallow end of the pool, you'll be able to bounce around while playing a round or two of Volleyball.
- Thursdays - 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM
- Sundays - 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
HAND Float
Features a giant flat HAND with four fingers from WIBIT in our deep end. Slides, diving boards, and one lane will be closed. One lap lanes will remain open.
- Every Saturday (except if the Obstacle Course is in) - 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM
Float Time
Features single tubes, double tubes, the floating log, and turtle float! Slides and diving boards will be closed. Lap lanes will remain open.

Themed Pool Events
Join the Green River Recreation Center in celebrating some fun holiday events! The pool will be decorated for each event by theme. Special games will be taking place along with prizes and unique floats for each event.
Friday, March 31st - Bunny Belly Flop from 4:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Friday, April 28th - Luau Pool Party from 4:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.
Private Swim Lessons
Private Swim Lessons are available for youth or adults in 30-minute sessions, based on the availability of pool and instructors. Register at the Recreation Center and pay the lesson fee. Staff will contact you within two business days to set-up appointment times. Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. Limit two students per lesson.
Fee: $20.00 per 1/2 hour for 1 student
$35.00 per 1/2 hours for 2 students (must be same swimming ability)
Swim Lessons
This is a program that is held all year long! The days of the week and time of day varies from summer compared to the rest of the year. Please follow this link for more information.
This is a FREE EVENT!
We will be participating in the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson in association with our own Educational Water Safety and Swim Instruction Day in honor of Paige Hardesty Greve.
